Niger Delta University (NDU) is in Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State in Nigeria. It is a Bayelsa state government-funded university. It was established in 2000 by Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha, then governor of Bayelsa state. It has two main campuses, one in the state capital, Yenagoa, which contains the law faculty, and the other in Amassoma. The following are the admission requirements to study in NDU.
General Requirements
To be considered for admission into the first-degree program, candidates should
1. Have five credit pass in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations;
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level Examination
- West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE),
- National Examination Council (NECO),
- National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) or their equivalents
2. Obtain the minimum cut-off score in UME conducted by JAMB
3. Meet the various departmental registration requirements
