The N-power Nigeria scheme is a programme which is aimed at achieving productivity in the country through skill development and knowledge. With the rate of unemployment on the increase, N-power is an initiative aimed at addressing this challenge and providing a structure for development at the same time providing a solution to inadequate public services and also boosting the economy.
It is also a tool by the government in diversifying the economy by equipping the youths with world-class skills which can move them to become innovators and entrepreneurs. N-power is not restricted to only graduates. It also provides technical and business skills to non-graduates to improve their lively hood. Apart from fundamental knowledge given to candidates, they are also exposed to practical skills and innovation.
N-Power Volunteer Corp involves about 500,000 trained graduates who have been deployed to various sectors like education, health, agro, etc. to assist public services. This is a plot to boost the nation’s economy and assist in social development and also employment.

· N-POWER NIGERIA HEALTH
This scheme aims at improving and promoting health care activities in the public sector. Volunteers here will provide these health care services to communities and areas which lack adequate health care services. In terms of selection, preferences are given to those with Bachelor’s Degree, HND and OND in health sciences (Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Microbiology, etc.) and other related disciplines. JOBS FOR N-POWER HEALTH INCLUDES:

Volunteers from the N-Power agro scheme are expected to be a link between the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and farmers across the country. In terms of SELECTION, preferences are given to those with Bachelor’s Degree, HND and OND in Agronomy, Nutrition, Agricultural Economics, Crop and Animal Science, Food Science and Technology and other agro-related disciplines. JOBS FOR N-POWER AGRO include:

DURATION of N-POWER AGRO: 2 years
· N-POWER TEACH
The volunteers in the N-Power Teach sector are charged with improving the standard of basic education in the country. They will be assigned as teacher assistants in various primary schools across the country. The idea is to work in line with current teachers and provide them with necessary support and assist with the teaching process. In terms of SELECTION, preferences are given to those with Bachelor’s Degree, HND, OND and NCE in all disciplines. JOBS FOR N-POWER Nigeria TEACH includes:

DURATION of N-POWER TEACH: 2 years
· N-POWER NIGERIA TAX
This initiative is particularly an attempt by the Federal Government to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to pay the appropriate taxes. About 3,700 volunteers will be deployed to work as Community Tax Liaison Officers in their states of residence. Their responsibilities will include inquiries, customer management and awareness of tax compliance. In terms of SELECTION, preferences are given to those with Bachelor’s Degree, HND, OND and NCE in all disciplines and non-graduates. JOBS FOR N-POWER TAX includes:
