ABU DAC Academic Calendar: First Semester

Commencing Your Semester: Registration and Lectures

The academic session commences withĀ registration for new and returning students, starting fromĀ Wednesday, 3rd January to Friday, 19th January 2024. This is followed by a focusedĀ 10-week lecture periodĀ beginning onĀ Monday, 22nd January 2024Ā and concluding onĀ Thursday, 28th March 2024.

Embracing Cultural Celebrations and Academic Rigour

Acknowledge the cultural significance of Easter with a break startingĀ Friday, 29th March to Saturday, 13th April 2024, before delving back into lectures. This break not only allows you to partake in festivities but also to rejuvenate for the final stretch of lectures fromĀ Monday, 15th April to Friday, 3rd May 2024.

Evaluating Your Progress: Examinations

As the semester progresses, you will be tested through examinations scheduled forĀ two weeks, fromĀ Monday, 6th May to Saturday, 18th May 2024. Subsequently, the marking of exam scripts is slated for anotherĀ two weeks, culminating onĀ Saturday, 1st June 2024.
