NCE Foundation Programme Eligibility

If you’ve given the JAMB a shot and hit or surpassed the approved minimum score but have a few hiccups in your O’ Level results, TASCE’s NCE Foundation might just be the fix for you. Once you’ve set right any deficiencies and tackled the requisite 100-level courses in the Foundation class, you’re on track to leapfrog into the 200 Level of the Full-time NCE programmes.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Scored 100 or more in JAMB
  • Hold an SSCE/NECO/GCE with at least 3 credits and 2 passes in a maximum of two sittings, with two of those credit passes linked to your study focus.
  • Keen on Vocational and Technical Education? RSA, City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate, or the Federal Craft Training Certificate (FCTC) will do, as long as you’ve clinched credit/merit passes in a minimum of five subjects.
  • If you’ve got a NABTEB Certificate glittering with five (5) credit passes in the right subjects, that’s a green light!
  • Got a Senior Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificate or even a Higher Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificate? Three credit/merit passes, including English, should do the trick.

Special Mention: Before progressing to NCE II, candidates must commit to fixing any academic shortfalls.

How To Get On Board

Dive into the application journey by following this simple guide:

  1. Kick-off: Visit TASCE’s official portal to begin. You’ll need to part with a portal access fee of five thousand naira (#5,000). Good news? You can easily pay with a Mastercard or VISA ATM card. Remember to print that receipt!

  4. Make that Payment: Once back on the Admission Portal, select ‘Pay Application Fee’. Use your ATM card for a seamless payment.
  5. Receipts & Status: If your payment gets a thumbs up, proceed to ‘Payment History’ to print your receipt. Payment troubles? Use the ‘Check Status’ to get updates.

  7. Finalize: Double-check your details. Once you’re happy, click ‘Submit’. Note: Post-submission edits are a no-go. After this, print your application form and keep an eye out for your screening slip, which will reveal your screening date.
