Packed Academic Schedule: July to October 2023
KASU’s academic plan for the second semester is marked by an eleven-week period from 10th July to 23rd October 2023, dedicated to Lectures and Continuous Assessment (CA) for all students. This intensive period is aimed at ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and rigorous academic experience, facilitating their understanding and mastery of their respective courses.
Mid-Semester Break and Course Alterations: A Time for Reflection and Change
Midway through the semester, from 16th August to 20th August 2023, students will have a three-day mid-semester break. This period not only offers an opportunity for rest and relaxation but also provides a chance for students to evaluate their academic progress. During this time, students will have the option to make alterations to their course selections online, a feature referred to as ‘Add and Drop’ of Courses.
Back to the Grind: Resuming Lectures
Post the mid-semester break, lectures will resume from 21st August and will continue till 28th September 2023. This phase will again be punctuated by Continuous Assessment (CA), ensuring that the learning process remains engaging and interactive.
Examination Season: Showcasing Academic Progress
The examination period, a crucial part of the academic calendar, is scheduled from 3rd October to 23rd October 2023. Following the examination, a period is allocated for marking to evaluate students’ performances.
Behind the Scenes: Processing and Release of Results
The processing of results will occur between 24th October and 30th October 2023, followed by a review by the Senate on 7th November 2023. Upon the Senate’s approval, the results will be released, and the sale of Change of Course forms will begin from 9th November 2023.
